The Illinois Beverage Association Celebrates International Women’s Day

State’s Leading Advocate of the Non-Alcoholic Beverage Industry Continues Advocacy for Members and Illinois Communities

ILLINOIS – March 8th marks International Women’s Day, a global celebration of the cultural, social, economic, and political achievements of women. This year’s campaign theme is #EmbraceEquity, a movement to get the world talking about why equal opportunities aren’t enough. The Illinois Beverage Association is proud to honor the great accomplishments of women and stand together against gender discrimination across the globe.

“It is important to us that our workforce reflects the communities we serve,” said IBA Executive Director Rob Nash. “Our member companies have taken numerous initiatives to increase female representation across all levels of their organizations, and externally, through spending with women-owned businesses.”
